ServeNebraska and Volunteer Iowa invite you to attend this FREE conference to learn how people with disabilities can strengthen communities and themselves through volunteering and national service. This event is open to the public.  Conference sessions will be tailored to national service members and staff, Veterans and Wounded Warriors, volunteer managers, employment specialists, educators, and people with disabilities and their providers/advocates.

Dr. Joseph Evans is a leader regionally and nationally in creatively identifying service opportunities that benefit and serve those with disabilities. He has consulted nationally and is the Program Director for MMI AmeriCorps. Dr. Evans is a Professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in the Munroe-Meyer Institute (MMI) and the Department of Pediatrics. He is the Director of the Psychology Department at MMI and the Division Director of Pediatric Psychology in the UNMC College of Medicine. He is an active clinician and manages the ADHD Clinic conducted at MMI as well as serving as a staff psychologist for the DHHS Children with Special Health Care Needs program.
